Birla Corporation consolidated net profit declines 55.45% in the March 2022 quarter

Sales rise 6.17% to Rs 2264.21 crore

Net profit of Birla Corporation declined 55.45% to Rs 111.08 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 249.33 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021. Sales rose 6.17% to Rs 2264.21 crore in the quarter ended March 2022 as against Rs 2132.61 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2021.

For the full year,net profit declined 36.75% to Rs 398.59 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 630.14 crore during the previous year ended March 2021. Sales rose 9.96% to Rs 7461.22 crore in the year ended March 2022 as against Rs 6785.45 crore during the previous year ended March 2021.
