Consumer Durables shares fall

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index falling 31.75 points or 0.13% at 24565.16 at 13:48 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Blue Star Ltd (down 0.98%), V I P Industries Ltd (down 0.91%),Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (down 0.55%),Titan Company Ltd (down 0.2%),Rajesh Exports Ltd (down 0.14%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Orient Electric Ltd (down 0.03%), and Whirlpool of India Ltd (down 0.01%).

On the other hand, TTK Prestige Ltd (up 0.87%), Voltas Ltd (up 0.58%), and Symphony Ltd (up 0.18%) moved up.

 

At 13:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 129.84 or 0.32% at 40806.47.

The Nifty 50 index was up 31.65 points or 0.26% at 12024.7.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 91.89 points or 0.67% at 13807.07.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 24.49 points or 0.52% at 4759.1.

On BSE,1391 shares were trading in green, 932 were trading in red and 152 were unchanged.
