Consumer Durables stocks edge higher

Consumer Durables stocks were trading in green, with the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index increasing 443.69 points or 1.65% at 27406 at 09:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index, Rajesh Exports Ltd (up 3.01%), Orient Electric Ltd (up 2.96%),Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd (up 2.64%),Titan Company Ltd (up 1.92%),Blue Star Ltd (up 1.74%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Symphony Ltd (up 1.74%), Whirlpool of India Ltd (up 0.13%), and Voltas Ltd (up 0.04%).

On the other hand, TTK Prestige Ltd (down 0.49%), and V I P Industries Ltd (down 0.36%) turned lower.

 

At 09:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 7.78 or 0.02% at 41249.96.

The Nifty 50 index was down 2.1 points or 0.02% at 12111.35.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 61.73 points or 0.42% at 14620.92.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 15.12 points or 0.3% at 5046.73.

On BSE,682 shares were trading in green, 907 were trading in red and 92 were unchanged.
