Healthcare shares fall
Healthcare stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Healthcare index falling 70.01 points or 0.46% at 15075.67 at 13:52 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Healthcare index, Indoco Remedies Ltd (down 2.63%), Vivimed Labs Ltd (down 2.26%),Wockhardt Ltd (down 2.17%),Alkem Laboratories Ltd (down 2.03%),Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd (down 2%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Dishman Carbogen Amcis Ltd (down 1.99%), Natco Pharma Ltd (down 1.67%), Divis Laboratories Ltd (down 1.39%), Biocon Ltd (down 1.3%), and Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd (down 1.16%).
On the other hand, Jubilant Life Sciences Ltd (up 4.99%), Hikal Ltd (up 4.98%), and Opto Circuits (India) Ltd (up 4.85%) moved up.
At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 747.95 or 2.38% at 32119.07.
The Nifty 50 index was up 212.15 points or 2.31% at 9408.7.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 208.93 points or 1.98% at 10775.08.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 73.38 points or 1.96% at 3823.08.
On BSE,1588 shares were trading in green, 647 were trading in red and 178 were unchanged.
