Forex reserves moves up by US$ 0.116 billion in the week ended 28 December
India's foreign exchange reserves rose marginally to US$ 393.40 billion in the week ended 28 December 2018. The foreign exchange reserves had stood at US$ 393.29 a week ago.Within the foreign exchange reserves, the foreign currency assets rose to US$ 368.08 billion in the week ended 28 December 2018 from US$ 367.97 billion a week ago.
The gold assets were flat at US$ 21.22 billion as on 28 December 2018 from a week ago. SDRs were flat at US$ 1.46 billion in the week ended 28 December 2018.
India's foreign exchange reserves have dipped by US$ 31.14 billion over March 2018 and US$ 15.96 billion over a year ago level, mainly driven by the decline in foreign currency assets.
