Industrials shares gain

Industrials stocks were trading in the positive zone, with the S&P BSE Industrials index rising 30.31 points or 1.02% at 2996.13 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Hindustan Construction Company Ltd (up 19.9%), IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd (up 11.45%),Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (up 11.43%),Man Infraconstruction Ltd (up 10.94%),KNR Constructions Ltd (up 8.76%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Welspun Enterprises Ltd (up 7.71%), NCC Ltd (up 7.69%), Simplex Infrastructures Ltd (up 5.63%), Ashoka Buildcon Ltd (up 5.44%), and Ramky Infrastructure Ltd (up 4.99%).

On the other hand, Dredging Corporation of India Ltd (down 6.95%), SORIL Infra Resources Ltd (down 4.98%), and Indiabulls Integrated Services Ltd (down 4.96%) moved lower.

 

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 44.72 or 0.11% at 40696.36.

The Nifty 50 index was down 2.35 points or 0.02% at 11996.75.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 35.34 points or 0.26% at 13449.77.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 8.82 points or 0.19% at 4705.91.

On BSE,784 shares were trading in green, 636 were trading in red and 67 were unchanged.
