Information Technology shares fall

Information Technology stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE IT Sector index falling 67.95 points or 0.44% at 15258.35 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd (down 5%), NIIT Ltd (down 4.25%),Kellton Tech Solutions Ltd (down 3.35%),Cigniti Technologies Ltd (down 3.02%),CESC Ventures Ltd (down 2.63%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Expleo Solutions Ltd (down 2.43%), Zen Technologies Ltd (down 2.28%), Infosys Ltd (down 1.99%), Trigyn Technologies Ltd (down 1.94%), and Accelya Solutions India Ltd (down 1.42%).

On the other hand, Intellect Design Arena Ltd (up 3.24%), NIIT Technologies Ltd (up 2.24%), and Birlasoft Ltd (up 2.14%) moved up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 313.44 or 0.82% at 38527.91.

The Nifty 50 index was up 86.45 points or 0.76% at 11427.6.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 4.77 points or 0.04% at 12782.82.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 14.62 points or 0.34% at 4353.53.

On BSE,1012 shares were trading in green, 1283 were trading in red and 166 were unchanged.
