Real Estate stocks edge lower
Real Estate stocks were trading in red, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 35.16 points or 1.6% at 2163.34 at 13:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Omaxe Ltd (down 19.98%), Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 3.84%),Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 2.7%),Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 2.34%),Sobha Ltd (down 1.96%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 1.26%), DLF Ltd (down 1.06%), Godrej Properties Ltd (down 0.21%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 0.01%).
On the other hand, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.82%), turned up.
At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 208.9 or 0.51% at 40570.69.
The Nifty 50 index was down 59.95 points or 0.5% at 11958.45.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 80.93 points or 0.6% at 13374.3.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 46.41 points or 0.98% at 4669.1.
On BSE,760 shares were trading in green, 1535 were trading in red and 162 were unchanged.
