Real Estate stocks tank
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index decreasing 130.1 points or 7.26% at 1662.85 at 13:53 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 15.47%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 10.8%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 10.69%),DLF Ltd (down 9.09%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 7.58%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Godrej Properties Ltd (down 5.42%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 4.97%), Sobha Ltd (down 4.62%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 1.61%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.61%).
At 13:53 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 2002.85 or 5.87% at 32100.63.
The Nifty 50 index was down 570.4 points or 5.73% at 9384.8.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 547.6 points or 4.66% at 11213.62.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 203 points or 4.89% at 3944.99.
On BSE,465 shares were trading in green, 1848 were trading in red and 156 were unchanged.
