Township supervisor found murdered

A site supervisor was found murdered in the Hi Tech township along National Highway 24 here in Uttar Pradesh.

Police said Mohammad Idrish was a supervisor at the construction site of Jaipuria, one of the realtors in the consortium of builders.

"The murder seems to have been committed between 11 and 12 midnight on Tuesday," Circle Officer Atish Kumar Singh said. "A sharp edged weapon was used in the crime."

A resident of Noida, Idrish was working as the supervisor at the site for four to five years. His family is based in Bihar.
