Two arrested for rape in Gurgaon

Two people have been arrested here for raping two teenaged girls, police said Sunday.

Saddam, 22, a native of Bihar, was arrested by Sadar police for raping a 14-year-old girl. The victim, also hailing from Bihar, lived in the neighbouring house in the slums near South City area.

Harbir, 20, was arrested by Udyog Vihar police from near Dundahera, where he was living on rent, for sexually assaulting his 15-year-old neighbour.

The accused, a tailor, belongs to Faridabad while the girl is from Uttar Pradesh.

Separate cases have been registered against the two accused, said a police officer.
