Case registered against doctor, director of pvt hospital

A case has been registered against the director and a doctor of a private hospital here for alleged negligence leading to a patient's death, police said today.

Family members of Babita (34), who died at the hospital last night, had accused the hospital management and doctor of negligence leading to her death.

Babita' husband Nanak said she was admitted at a hospital two days ago.

He alleged that the authorities there referred her to another private hospital in Gurgaon when she had already died.

Angry family members staged a demonstration against the hospital authorities yesterday.

On the complaint of Nanak, police booked director Sanjay Kumar and doctor Ajit Singh.
 

Police said efforts were on to apprehend the accused.
