CBI arrests railway doctor, junior employee

A doctor and a junior employee of the Divisional Railway Hospital here have been arrested by CBI for taking bribes from candidates undergoing medical tests, the probe agency officials said here today.
A CBI team caught doctor Soumen Das and group D employee Madhav Das for taking bribe of Rs 1000 each from candidates selected for the group D post who were undergoing medical tests, they said.
The medical tests had started from January 28 and the doctor and Das used to demand Rs 1,000 from the selected candidates otherwise they would fail them in the test, the officials said.
