A 42-year-old Delhi Police constable on night petrolling duty was injured after a speeding car hit him in East Punjabi Bagh area.
Constable Acche Lal was on night patrolling and was passing through East Punjabi Bagh market when a car hit him late last night, said a police officer.
The driver of the car was caught on the spot by other policemen of the patrolling party. He has been booked in a case of negligent driving at Punjabi Bagh police station.
The injured constable with a fractured leg was admitted to Agrasen Hospital where his condition was stable, said the officer.
