FCI official arrested

The Tezu depot-in-charge of FCI was arrested yesterday following an FIR lodged by FCI Consultative Committee for Arunachal Pradesh with Tezu police station on November 24.

The committee complained that M/s Namsai LAMP Ltd and the FCI official had siphoned off a huge quantity of food grains meant for Public Distribution System (PDS) in September last, police said.
