Four MLCs won't empower J-K Panchayat Raj Institution: AJKPC

"4 MLCs from Panchayat quota won't be of any help in strengthening and empowering Panchayat unless three-tier PR system is fully established in Jammu and Kashmir," Chairman of All Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Conference Shafiq Mir told reporters here.

Mir said that his organisation would leave no stone unturned to take up the issue of 73rd amendment, honorarium and adequate security to the village heads where it is specifically required.
