Gold futures slip Rs 269 per 10 gm on profit-booking

Gold futures traded lower by Rs 269 to Rs 37,580 per 10 gram on Thursday due to profit-booking by participants on low demand.
Gold for delivery in October was trading lower by Rs 269, or 0.71 per cent, to Rs 37,580 per 10 gram in a business volume of 3184 lots.
Analysts said, the fall in gold futures was mostly attributed to profit-booking by participants at the domestic market.
Globally, the yellow metal prices declined 0.88 per cent to USD 1,502.40 an ounce in New York.
