Prices of gram and moong fell by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today due to easing demand from retailers against adequate stocks position.
Traders said besides a fall in demand from retailers, sufficient stocks position on improved supplies from producing belts mainly kept pressure on gram and moong prices.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality fell further by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,400-5,600, Rs 6,300-6,600 and Rs 6,700-6,800 per quintal, respectively. Kabli gram small variety followed suit and shed Rs 100 at Rs 9,200-9,700 per quintal.

Besan Shaktibhog and Rajdhani followed suit and quoted lower at Rs 2,800 instead of Rs 2,850 per 35 kg bag.
Moong and its dal chilka also declined by Rs 100 each to Rs 4,800-5,000 and Rs 5,300-5,500 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality traded lower by a similar margin to Rs 5,900-6,400 and Rs 6,400-6,600 per quintal.
