Additional Sessions Judge Shakeel Ahmad Khan yesterday also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on Dayashanker Giri.
The victim had lodged a complaint at Phephna police station on February 28, 2008 alleging that Giri had raped her and later forced her to have an abortion at a private hospital, prosecution sources said.
