Ministers to hold public meetings in UP from May 26-30: Bajpai

Seven Union ministers will hold meetings and press conferences in Uttar Pradesh between May 26 and 30 to apprise people about the achievements made by the Narendra Modi government in the last one year, state BJP president Laxmikant Bajpai said here today.
"Through press conferences and meetings with the public and party workers, the ministers would apprise the people about the progress made by the country under the Modi government," he said, but did not reveal the ministers' names.
Bajpai along with BJP national secretary Srikant Sharma was addressing a press conference here ahead of the Prime Minister's 'Jan Kalyan' rally in Nagla Chandrabhan village tomorrow to mark his government's first anniversary.

Elaborating on banking and insurance schemes launched by the NDA government, Bajpai said the Modi dispensation is the "first government" to work for the poor.
Hitting out at Congress, Sharma said the party is "synonym of corruption" and is still misguiding the people.
