Minor girl raped by father in Jammu

The three-year-old girl was raped by her father Sunil Kumar last evening in R S Pura border area of the city, they said.

Later, the victim informed the matter to her mother, who lodged a case against Kumar, police said, adding that the girl was admitted to Gandhi Nagar hospital in a serious condition.

In a separate incident, a teenaged girl was abducted and raped by Parvez in Gharota area yesterday, police said.

The victim was later recovered from the bus stand area of Gharota.

A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the absconding accused, they said.

Further probes are on in both the cases, police added.
