Teenager dies after bike skids off road in Ghatkopar

A teenager died after his bike skidded on a 60-feet road in suburban Ghatkopar this evening.

The accident took place at around 5:30 pm when Jay Kamlakar (16) was returning home on his bike after hanging out with friends.

"We are yet to obtain the CCTV footage of the incident, but it appears that the deceased lost control over his two-wheeler and it skidded of the road in Pantnagar area of Ghatkopar," a senior police official said.

The victim's body has been sent for post-mortem and process to register case in this regard was under way, the official added.
