Woman's body recovered from canal

The body of a 35-year-old woman bearing deep wounds was recovered from a canal in Dadri area here, police said today. Villagers informed the authorities this morning about the body floating in the canal, they said. Till late evening, the identity of the woman was yet to be established. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, police said, adding that it is suspected that she was killed somewhere else and her body dumped in the canal.
