Angara, Wasudeo To Join Swc As Senior Hierarchy

Manu Chhabria-promoted Shaw Wallace & Company (SWC) has appointed Krishna Angara as executive vice-president, traditional businesses, and Balan Wasudeo as executive vice-president, corporate, in a step towards filling up key slots in its senior management hierarchy.
Angara was earlier the head honcho at BPL Mobile, the cellular operator for Mumbai circle, while Wasudeo's previous assignment was with Indo Rama Synthetics as chief financial officer.
The company has yet to take a decision on the managing director's slot, which was vacated by Ravi Jain in October last. Shaw Wallace's senior vice-president Satpal Chaudhary, who had taken over traditional businesses in addition to the beer operations, will now concentrate entirely on the company's beer division, and has been re-designated as executive vice-president.
