Hp High-End Up, Low-End Losing Ground To Windows Nt

The high-end Unix server business was one of the brightest parts of Hewlett-Packard Cos first quarter the company said on a financial call Tuesday.
Revenue was up around 25 per cent, and about 50 per cent of sales of the V-Class server were to new accounts. The low-end is apparently losing sales to NT. HP is one of the few companies that aggressively sells both UNIX and Windows NT systems.
