Key Pivotals Gain

Select pivotals forged ahead on the Calcutta Stock Exchange yesterday (Tuesday) improving marked sentiments and enabling few other scrips to gain ground during the trading session.

The spurt in ACC aided the CSE-50 share index to score handsome gains which touched a high of 121.21 points. Thereafter, it dipped to 117.47 points and eventually closed at 120.33 points gaining 2.86 points.

While Reliance stayed in a strong bull grip and closed at Rs 372.50, ACC hogged the limelight touched Rs 1,305 due to brisk bull support and investment inquiry from certain quarters. Interest in ACC was based on hopes that the companys performance would be substantially better

 

It eventually wound up at Rs 1,305 from the previous days close at Rs 1,234.
