2. On the threshold of freedom, he said various symptoms, some healthy and others unhealthy, would appear.

3. There was toady a scramble for power and the result was distrust and disturbances.
4. Everybody must be a policeman. His experience hitherto was that if there was any trouble people telephone to him.
5. This would not do and every body in this land must become a policeman.
6. With the advent of freedom, fear should be completely eliminated.
7. A free people could never afford to be afraid, except at the peril of losing their liberty.
How true was his vision on scramble for power and distrust. One Chief Minister has declared from house tops that even if he is jailed, he would not resign but carry on administering the state from the jail.
Prime Minister engineers to buy a few MPs to save his chair. Another Prime Minister even after withdrawal of support sticks till the last in the name of democracy.
On the other hand, when there was a question, who should become first Prime Minister Sardar Patel had received support from most of PCCs and none for Pandit Nehru, but Sardar withdrew in favour of Nehru. Such was the standard and concern for nation Where the country is being led to by people having personal interests on top, irrespective of consequences to the country ?
