Pepper Tag Up

Pepper prices rose sharply yesterday on higher outside advices coupled with poor arrivals, traders said. On the other hand, ginger prices declined steeply on poor offtake amidst fresh arrivals. Black pepper ready prices shot up further by Rs 200 per 50 kilo to close at Rs 8900. Prices of ginger bleached and unbleached fell by Rs 100 per quintal each to close at Rs 2500 and Rs 2700. PTI
