Ensim lauches new software

Our Regional Reporter Mumbai/ Pune
Taking its journey of providing a single unified platform for disparate services like triple play, email, video conferencing and other applications under the Ensim Unify platform a step further, Ensim has announced the launch of its Unify Service Manager SDK (SDK), a comprehensive software development kit that easily integrates any application into the Ensim Unify Platform and rapidly deploys and operates as a hosted service in India.

"The Ensim Unify platform offers 15 pre-built Service Managers for rapid hosting and deployment of services on the platform and now with SDK any number of applications can be hosted rapidly in a short timeframe as clients can build their own Service Managers for an application," said David Wippich, CEO, Ensim Inc. Ensim has already won three ISVs as clients globally following its global launch in July.

"We have signed on Siemens Communications and two others clients globally for SDK," said Wippich.

A supplier of service enablement and automation software for hosted IP and application services, Ensim currently has 54 clients, which consist of large telecom operators (telcos), like France Telecom, NTT America, Belgacom and Independent Service Vendors (ISVs).

Wippich is optimistic about the large enterprise market being a potential market for its products.

"We are interested in tapping large enterprises employing over 10,000 to 20,000 people, as these companies could internally deploy Unify, as their employees require various services like VoIP, video conferencing, email and others," Wippich said, while sharing that the company has already signed two enterprise clients, one of which was Holland-based Transavier Airlines.

A player in the $6 billion software as a service market providing manufacturers automation tools for applications like voice over internet protocol (VoIP), which grew at over 300 per cent last year, "Ensim is looking at India as a potential market and has won one client here and is looking at two more by the year end," he said.

He however refused to disclose the names of the clients, saying that an announcement would be made in the next one to two months.
