City based ERP software developer company PCSOFT and Canada’s Taylor Group have join hands to develop a software for SME manufacturers to improve efficiency and profitability in production planning and scheduling (APS Software).

DecisionOne, a production scheduling software can empower SME Indian manufacturers, who otherwise have limited financial resources and technical expertise, to optimize their plant floor operations due to real-time visibility and greater management control, company said.

In a joint statement PCSoft’s Managing Director, Sateesh Jain, said, "Small Sized Indian manufacturers could leap ahead in the global arena if they optimized usage of their limited resources which includes machines, tools, dies, operators, manual laborers etc. India itself can become a global manufacturing hub, a preferred destination for relocation or outsourcing, if SME operations become highly efficient in this way." These APS tools are used in industrialized nations like Germany and Japan, there is very low awareness in India presently.
