Pentamedia Q4 net down 90% to Rs 50 l

Pentamedia Graphics' net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 plunged 89.4 per cent to Rs 50 lakh from Rs 4.75 crore in the same quarter previous year.

Total income dipped 64 per cent to Rs 16.04 crore (Rs 44.99 crore). For the 12 months period ended March 31, 2005, net profit declined to Rs 4.81 crore (Rs 6.87 crore in the previous year).

V Chandrasekaran, chairman, Pentamedia Graphics, said: "We have optimised the resources and costs and are in turn looking to give good entertainment and better returns for the stakeholders".
