Business conglomerate Godrej Industries Ltd on Tuesday reported an 81 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 322.49 crore for the April-June quarter of 2024, on higher income.
Its net profit stood at Rs 178.06 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income increased to Rs 5,259.41 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal, from Rs 4,893.40 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a regulatory filing.

On business performance of its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associate companies, Godrej Industries said the consolidated sales of Godrej Consumer Products Ltd (GCPL) stood at Rs 3,311 crore in the first quarter of this fiscal.

Patel Engineering Ltd on Tuesday reported a 25.81 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 48.17 crore in the April-June quarter of 2024.
It had posted a Rs 38.29 crore net profit from operations during the year-ago period, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company's revenue from operations declined by 1.52 per cent to Rs 1,101.66 crore in the June quarter.
It was at Rs 1,118.61 crore in the year-ago period.

Debt-ridden IL&FS group has repaid Rs 50,387 crore to its creditors as of June 2026, according to the latest status report affidavit filed before insolvency appellate tribunal NCLAT.
This is around 4 per cent higher than Rs 48,463 crore repayment by IL&FS as per the last status report filed in September 2025.
With the repayment of Rs 50,387 crore, the overall debt resolution of the IL&FS group has reached nearly 82.6 per cent of its target of Rs 61,000, which is approximately 61.38 per cent of the total external debt outstanding of Rs 99,377 crore.
However, it has paid 88.4 per cent -- around Rs 57,000 crore of its total debt of Rs 91,000 crore (the amount which was estimated at the time of the management takeover) -- owed to public sector banks and financial institutions.

Tata Power on Monday said it has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) to supply 324 MW of power from its 1,000 MW Pumped Hydro Storage Project (PSP) at Bhivpuri in Maharashtra.
The project was awarded under SECI's tariff-based global competitive bidding for the supply of 1,500 MW / 12,000 MWh of power from pumped hydro storage projects being set up in the country, a company statement said.
The project was secured through an e-reverse auction. It has a 40-year Pumped Storage Purchase (PSP) agreement and is scheduled for commissioning by 2029.
The project will be developed under the Build, Own, Operate (BOO) model and will provide 8 hours of energy storage, enabling reliable supply of electricity during peak demand periods.
It will be connected to the 765/400 kV South Kalamb Central Transmission Utility (CTU) Substation through the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS).
