Want to work more with her: Sanjay on Madhuri

Karan Johar's ambitious production "Kalank" brings together the on-screen pairing of Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit after over two decades and the "Munna Bhai" star on Tuesday said he would like to work more with his longtime co-star. Sanjay and Madhuri were one of the most popular reel-life couples and worked together in several hit films in the '90s such as "Saajan", "Khalnayak", "Thandedar" and "Iaalaka". Francophonie Week: Celebrating all things French

Come Wednesday, Delhi will transform into a melting pot of French culture with the Francophonie Week that will feature exhibitions, film screenings, theatre and live music from the European country. Semaine de la Francophonie (Francophie Week), organised by Alliance Franaise de Delhi, is aimed at promoting the French language and the diversity of Francophone cultures. The event which will see participation by a host of French speakers and Francophiles, will open with a session by Canadian author Frdrick Lavoie who will talk about countering fake news and literary journalism as a tool against it. 'The Blacklist' renewed for season seven at NBC

NBC has renewed its hit crime drama series "The Blacklist" for seventh season. The show, headlined by James Spader and Megan Boone, follows the story of a wanted man, Raymond "Red" Reddington, who surrenders before the FBI and helps in capturing some of the most notorious criminals. The sixth season of the show currently airs on NBC. According to Variety, both Spader and Boone will be coming back for the seventh season. The show joins "Chicago Fire", "Chicago Med", "Chicago PD" and "New Amsterdam" as NBC dramas to score early renewals for the 2019-2020 broadcast season.

Taika Waititi to direct 'Time Bandits' series for Apple

Apple has roped in Taika Waititi of "Thor: Ragnarok" fame to direct the TV adaptation of 1981 fantasy film "Time Bandits". The 43-year-old filmmaker will also co-write the pilot episode and executive produce the series for Apple, reported Variety. The original film, directed by Terry Gilliam, follows the adventures of a boy named Kevin (Craig Warnock) who travels to ancient Greece and Italy during the Napoleonic Wars, among other times and places, in the company of six dwarves. The movie also featured Sean Connery, David Rappaport, Kenny Baker, John Cleese, Shelley Duvall and Ian Holm. The film's small screen adaptation will be co-produced by Paramount TV, Anonymous Content and Media Rights Capital. Gilliam and Dan Halsted will also serve as executive producers. Waititi's next feature film will be "Jojo Rabbit", which set to release this year. Besides this, the filmmaker will co-direct Disney+ "Star Wars" series "The Mandalorian".

National award winning director Srijit Mukherji's next film is a thriller called 'Vinci Da'. The film centres on the main character who is an ardent fan of Leonardo Da Vinci and hence called 'Vinci Da' by his friends, Mukherji said on Sunday. The trailer of the film was released on Saturday, March 9. However, the film is not just his story but about another man Adi Bose who comes and turns his life upside down, he said.
