The chemistry that Chris Hemsworth shared with "Thor: Ragnarok" co-star Tessa Thompson helped the two actors navigate their dynamic in "MIB: International". The 35-year-old Australian star said working with Thompson, who plays Valkyrie in Marvel Cinematic Universe, is always a pleasure and he was impressed with the way she crafted her character of Agent M. "I think every time you play a new character, you find different personalities. I knew her as Valkyrie. I love that character but that character is vastly different from this one. So to see her in contemporary setting was great. "She is the lead in MIB, so she had a lot more for her to do. And just watching her craft this character and navigate the story was hugely impressive. Ready to team up with Will Smith, says Chris Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth, the latest addition to the "Men In Black" (MIB) franchise, says given a chance, he would love to collaborate with its original stars, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. The "Thor" star plays Agent H in "Men In Black: International" alongside Tessa Thompsons Agent M. He believes there is a scope for Smith and Jones to return for a future project as their characters Agent J and Agent K are still a part of the MIB universe, about a secret organisation which monitors and controls the activities of alien population on Earth. "In my mind, these characters can meet at some point of time and cross paths if we are lucky enough to do another one. I did watch the previous films but didn't ask from Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones about it because I just wanted to do something different and not repeat what they were doing. "Who knows we may team up in future. Those characters are still in this world. It is not a remake of sorts. There is a larger story, especially Tessa's character,

Taapsee Pannu undergoes intense prep for 'Game Over'

Actor Taapsee Pannu says she had to mentally prepare a lot to play a wheelchair-bound woman dealing with a mysterious identity trying to invade her home in her film "Game Over". "Keeping the physical aspects aside, mentally a lot of things were new for me to experience. Like post traumatic stress, anniversary effect reactions and low self confidence... All these are emotions, I haven't experienced before and don't come to me naturally," Taapsee said in a statement. "With the co-writer of the film, Kaavya Ramkumar, I could understand the logic behind all these effects and reactions and how to use them naturally in my performance. It needs to be controlled to right proportion to make it look believable." Taapsee said since the film also addresses anxiety and nyctophobia (fear of darkness), she took the help of her co-writer "to understand how it really happens" and saw videos and documentaries addressing the problem. Presented by Anurag Kashyap, "Game Over" will release June 14.

We are in rich period of international engagement: Academy president John bailey

Italy and France have 26 wins between them in the best foreign film Oscars but with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) increasing its "international engagement", the trend is changing, Academy president John Bailey said Tuesday. India, which has been sending films for Oscar consideration since 1957, is yet to win a trophy in the category though there have been individual victories for Bhanu Athiya, A R Rahman and Resul Pookutty. Only three Indian films -- "Mother India", "Salaam Bombay" and "Lagaan" -- have been nominated in the segment which was renamed as best international feature film category. "I think we are in a very rich period of international engagement. In the past, there have been tremendous numbers of Eurocentric (wins). But there are multiple reasons for that, which have nothing to do with India," Bailey said in a press conference while responding to a question about Indian films not faring well at Oscars. "If you go back, what we used to call the ...
