L&T to complete Hyderabad metro stake divestment by FY26 end

Infrastructure major Larsen & Toubro on Friday said that disinvestment of its stake in Hyderabad metro project will be completed by the end of current financial year. "We expect the divestment to get completed by the end of the current fiscal FY26," L&T said in a filing to BSE. The company said that Telangana government will take over the Hyderabad Metro SPV by refinancing the current debt and acquiring equity of L&T Metro Rail (Hyderabad) Ltd at the agreed values An in principle understanding has been reached between both on the same. Hyderabad bound A-I Express flight makes emergency landing in Vizag

An Air India Express flight from Visakhapatnam to Hyderabad with 103 passengers made an emergency landing here on Thursday, following an engine problem after a suspected bird hit mid-air, said an official. Visakhapatnam Airport director S Raja Reddy said the pilot of Air India Express flight number IX 2658 requested for the emergency landing and returned to the port city after abandoning the journey to Hyderabad. "After departing Vizag, the pilot reported some problem in the engine. So, he asked for an emergency landing and returned to Vizag. The flight landed safely and passengers were deboarded," Reddy told PTI, adding that alternative arrangements are being made by the airline. According to the director, the aircraft departed Vizag at 2.38 pm and returned by 3 pm, travelling only around 10 nautical miles while the bird hit was suspected to have occurred while ascending.

Godrej Properties sells 683 units worth over ₹1k cr in Hyderabad project

Godrej Properties Ltd on Monday said it has sold 683 housing units for more than Rs 1,000 crore in its new residential project in Hyderabad, driven by strong consumer demand. In a regulatory filing, the company said it has sold inventory worth over Rs 1,000 crore in its project 'Godrej Regal Pavilion' located at Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad. The project was launched earlier this month. At the launch, the company had sold 683 homes with a total area of 1.20 million square feet. The total developable area in this large project is 4.14 million square feet with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 3,600 crore. Godrej Properties to buy 7.82-acre land in Hyderabad for nearly ₹550 cr

Godrej Properties Ltd has won a bid to acquire 7.82-acre land in Hyderabad for nearly Rs 550 crore. In a regulatory filing on Thursday, the company said it has participated in an e-auction conducted by the Telangana Housing Board (TGHB). Godrej Properties has "emerged as the highest bidder for 7.825 acre land parcel in Kukatpally (KPHB), Hyderabad, with a total combined bid value of Rs 547.75 crore". The housing board would issue the allotment letter after following the due process. Godrej Properties will develop a housing project on this land parcel. The estimated revenue potential of this project would be Rs 3,800 crore. ED conducts searches at 6 locations in Hyderabad in bank-fraud case

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has conducted searches at six locations in Hyderabad in connection with a bank-fraud case against the promoters and directors of a company and its associate entities. The ED initiated its investigation on the basis of an FIR registered by the Anti-Corruption Bureau of the CBI in Hyderabad against SEW LSY Highways Limited and others under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Prevention of Corruption Act for allegedly siphoning off and diverting loan funds, cheating and criminal misconduct, resulting in the loss of public money, the agency said in a statement. Hyderabad Cricket Association president A Jagan Mohan Rao and four others were on Wednesday taken into custody by the Telangana CID for questioning in connection with the allegations levelled against him and others by the Sunrisers Hyderabad during the 2025 IPL season, police said. GMR Airports Ltd on Thursday said its subsidiary GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd has completed the acquisition of 70 per cent stake in its associate company -- ESR GMR Logistics Park Pvt Ltd.
