Godrej Properties Ltd on Monday said it has sold 683 housing units for more than Rs 1,000 crore in its new residential project in Hyderabad, driven by strong consumer demand. In a regulatory filing, the company said it has sold inventory worth over Rs 1,000 crore in its project 'Godrej Regal Pavilion' located at Rajendra Nagar, Hyderabad. The project was launched earlier this month. At the launch, the company had sold 683 homes with a total area of 1.20 million square feet. The total developable area in this large project is 4.14 million square feet with an estimated revenue potential of Rs 3,600 crore. Godrej Properties Ltd has won a bid to acquire 7.82-acre land in Hyderabad for nearly Rs 550 crore. In a regulatory filing on Thursday, the company said it has participated in an e-auction conducted by the Telangana Housing Board (TGHB). Godrej Properties has "emerged as the highest bidder for 7.825 acre land parcel in Kukatpally (KPHB), Hyderabad, with a total combined bid value of Rs 547.75 crore". The housing board would issue the allotment letter after following the due process. Godrej Properties will develop a housing project on this land parcel. The estimated revenue potential of this project would be Rs 3,800 crore. A Mumbai-bound Air India flight from Hyderabad with 92 passengers on board was grounded and subsequently cancelled on Friday due to a technical glitch, airport sources said.
