BJP president JP Nadda on Sunday accused the Bhupesh Baghel government in Chhattisgarh of indulging in "corruption" and said the Congress-led dispensation does not have the right to remain in power in the state. The 90-member Chhattisgarh assembly will go to polls in two phases on November 7 and 17. BJP chief JP Nadda to address rallies in poll-bound Chhattisgarh today

Bharatiya Janata Party president J P Nadda will address two public meetings and hold three road shows in poll-bound Chhattisgarh on Sunday, a BJP functionary said. Nadda arrived at Swami Vivekananda Airport in Chhattisgarh capital Raipur on Saturday evening and went to Kushabhau Thakre Parisar, the BJP's state headquarters. "The BJP president held a meeting with the party's core committee members of some assembly constituencies. On Sunday, he will listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' radio programme in Amlidih area here. Nadda will then leave for Dongargarh assembly constituency in Rajnandgaon district to address a public meeting," the party functionary said. BJP releases list of 12 candidates for Mizoram Assembly polls due on Nov 7

The BJP on Wednesday released the names of its candidates for 12 assembly seats in Mizoram, where polls are slated to be held on November 7. In a separate notification, the party named Bhavna Bohra as its candidate for the Pandaria assembly seat in Chhattisgarh, where polling will be held in two phases on November 7 and November 17. According to the BJP's list for the Mizoram assembly polls, R Lalbiaktluangi will contest from the Lunglei West seat, Shanti Bikash Chakma from Thorang, Malsawmtluanga from Hachhek and Vanlalhmuaka from the Dampa seat. The BJP's central election committee, which includes Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and party chief J P Nadda, approved the names of the candidates for the Mizoram and Chhattisgarh assembly polls.

BJP president J P Nadda will hold a meeting with party office bearers of Udaipur division on Monday ahead of the Rajasthan assembly polls. BJP president J P Nadda on Monday claimed the Congress can only give a "guarantee of loot" as he accused the party of turning Karnataka into an ATM for collecting money through corruption to fund its poll campaign. Nadda cited the reported recovery of over Rs 100 crore from some contractors in raids by probe agencies in Karnataka, saying it is shameful and an abhorrent joke with voters. BJP president J P Nadda on Monday welcomed the election commission's (EC) announcement of assembly polls in five states and claimed his party will form government in all the states with a big majority under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. "The BJP will form government in all states with a big majority under respected Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and will work with commitment to fulfil people's aspirations in the next five years," he said on X, soon after the EC's announcement of the poll schedule.
