A 23-year-old man was killed and three others were injured after their car rammed into a divider at the Signature Bridge on early Thursday, police said. The four friends -- Ashish, Rishabh, Yash and Vishal -- had gone for a ride in their car at the Signature Bridge. Ashish, who was driving the car, lost control over the vehicle and the car rammed into a divider at the bridge, police said. Ashish was rushed to the Trauma Centre Civil Lines, where he was declared brought dead by doctors while Vishal's condition was stated to be critical. Rishabh and Yash sustained minor injuries, police said. After conducting the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members, they said. A 23-year-old man was shot at allegedly by two unidentified bike-borne men after he refused to share a cigarette with them in northwest Delhi's Shalimar Bagh, police said Thursday. Amir Khan sustained a bullet injury to the right side of his chest, they said. In his statement to police, Khan said that he and his friend were standing near a shopping mall at around 9.30 pm on Wednesday when two unidentified men came on a motorcycle and asked him for a cigarette. When he refused, the two men abused him which led to an argument. One of the two bike-borne men took out at a pistol and opened fired at Khan, a senior officer said. Six people, including five children, were killed when the motorcycle they were riding collided with a truck in Chhattisgarh's Balodabazar district Thursday night, police said. The tragic incident took place on Balodabazar bypass under the City Kotwali police station area, a local police official said. A man and five children who were all below 10 years of age were riding the motorcycle which collided with a truck, leaving all six dead on the spot, he said. The truck driver has been arrested, he added.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested two terrorists belonging to Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) on Thursday. A 24-year-old man, charged with kidnapping a girl from here and taking her to Daman and Diu with a promise of marrying her, has been arrested, police said Thursday.
