State-owned NBCC Ltd on Tuesday reported a 38 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 107.19 crore for the first quarter of this fiscal. Dish TV India on Tuesday reported a consolidated net loss of Rs 1.56 crore for June quarter 2024-25 impacted by a decline in subscription revenue. The direct-to-home firm had reported a net profit of Rs 20.54 crore in April-June FY24, according to a regulatory filing from Dish TV. Revenue from operation was down to Rs 455.29 crore from Rs 500.16 crore. Total expenses declined 2.71 per cent to Rs 462.56 crore. The expenses include cost of goods and services, personnel cost and other expenses. In the June quarter, Dish TV's subscription revenues were at Rs 306.2 crore as against Rs 397.4 crore in the corresponding period a year ago. However, advertising revenue was up 7.2 per cent to Rs 9.7 crore in the June quarter. Income from marketing and promotional fees also went up by 59.2 per cent to Rs 130.7 crore in the June quarter. State-owned hydropower company SJVN on Tuesday posted 31 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 357.09 crore during June quarter, on account of higher income. It had reported a net profit of Rs 271.75 crore during the April-June period of the preceding financial year, the company said in an exchange filing. RattanIndia Enterprises on Tuesday reported over three-fold year-on-year jump in its net profit to Rs 851 crore in three months to June 2024. Power trading solutions provider PTC India on Tuesday posted about 33 per cent rise in its consolidated net profit to Rs 189 crore in the June quarter due to lower expenses. "Consolidated Profit After Tax (PAT or net profit) in Q1-FY25 was Rs 189 crore compared to Rs 143 crore in Q1 FY24, an increase of 33 per cent," a company statement said. Piramal Enterprises on Tuesday reported a 64 per cent decline in its June quarter net profit to Rs 181 crore, impacted because of a higher base due to a one-off item last year. Ipca Laboratories on Tuesday said its consolidated net profit increased 18 per cent to Rs 192 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024 aided by robust sales in the domestic market. The drug firm had reported a net profit of Rs 163 crore for the April-June period of last fiscal. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 2,093 crore for the April-June quarter, as compared to Rs 1,585 crore in the year-ago period, Ipca Laboratories said in a regulatory filing. The drug firm said domestic formulations income rose 12 per cent year-on-year to Rs 873 crore in the first quarter. Exports income, however, declined 4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 591 crore during the June quarter, the company said.
