GAIL Q2 results: PAT falls 18% to ₹2,823 cr on weak petrochemical margins

State-owned gas utility GAIL (India) Ltd on Friday reported an 18 per cent drop in September quarter net profit as petrochemical margins came under pressure in a quarter with flattish volumes. Standalone net profit of Rs 2,823.19 crore in the July-September period -- the second quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year -- compared with Rs 3,453.12 crore earning in the same period last year, according to a stock exchange filing by the company. While earnings from its natural gas transmission as well as marketing business ere flattish, petrochemical business posted a nearly Rs 300 crore pre-tax loss on margin pressures. Revenue from operations rose to Rs 35,031 crore from Rs 32,930.72 crore in July-September 2024. For half year (April-September), net profit fell 24 per cent to Rs 4,103.56 crore. According to GAIL, natural gas, which is used to generate power, produce fertiliser, turned into CNG to run automobiles or used in kitchens for cooking, sold in H1 of current fiscal year was 105.47

BPCL Q2 results: Net profit jumps 169% to ₹6,443 cr, revenue rises 3%

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) on Friday reported a 169 per cent jump in its September quarter net profit on the back of a surge in refining margins. Its standalone net profit of Rs 6,442.53 crore in July-September - the second quarter of 2025-26 fiscal year - was 169 per cent higher than Rs 2,397.93 crore earned in the same period last year, according to a stock exchange filing by the company. The company earned USD 10.78 on turning every barrel of crude oil into fuels like petrol and diesel, compared to a gross refining margin of USD 4.41 per barrel in July-September 2024. The revenue from operations was up 3 per cent at Rs 1.21 lakh crore. On operational performance, BPCL said its refineries achieved a throughput of 9.82 million tonnes with a capacity utilisation of 111 per cent in Q2 against 10.28 million tonnes processed in the same period a year back. Patanjali Foods Q2 results: Profit jumps 67% to ₹516.69 cr, income up 21%

Patanjali Foods Ltd, which is mainly into edible oils, on Friday reported a 67 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 516.69 crore for the second quarter of this financial year. Its net profit stood at Rs 308.58 crore in the year-ago period. Total income rose to Rs 9,850.06 crore during the July-September period of 2025-26 fiscal from Rs 8,132.76 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year, according to a regulatory filing. During the 2024-25 fiscal, the company posted a net profit of Rs 1,300.7 crore over a total income of Rs 33,924.34 crore.

Shriram Finance Q2 results: PAT up 7% to ₹2,314 cr, asset quality improves

Shriram Finance Ltd, the flagship company of diversified conglomerate Shriram Group, on Friday reported a 7 per cent increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,314 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal year. The NBFC firm had earned a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,153 crore in the second quarter of the previous fiscal. Total income rose to Rs 11,921 crore in the quarter under review, from Rs 10,097 crore in the same period a year ago, Shriram Finance said in a regulatory filing. The NBFC firm earned an interest income of Rs 11,551 crore in the quarter as against Rs 9,815 crore in the same period a year ago. Total expenses also moved up to Rs 8,808 crore, as compared to Rs 7,345 crore in the same period in the previous fiscal. LT Foods Q2 results: Profit up 9% to ₹163.85 crore, revenue jumps 30%

FMCG firm LT Foods has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 163.85 crore in the second quarter ended September, up nearly 9 per cent on a year-on-year basis, driven by higher revenue. The company had reported a net profit of Rs 150.61 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, a regulatory filing on Thursday showed. During the quarter under review, LT Foods' total income rose to Rs 2,772.48 crore, from Rs 2,134.04 crore in the previous financial year. Its total expenses, however, also increased to Rs 2,544.19 crore, from Rs 1,942.92 crore, the filing showed. Strides Pharma Q2FY26 results: Net profit jumps 82% to ₹131.5 crore

Strides Pharma Science Ltd on Friday reported an 82 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 131.52 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2025 on the back of strong revenue growth in 'other regulated markets' and lower expenses. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 72.3 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal, Strides Pharma Science said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations in the second quarter stood at Rs 1,220.83 crore as compared to Rs 1,166.93 crore in the year-ago period, it added. Total expenses in the quarter under review stood at Rs 1,085.03 crore as compared to Rs 1,104.61 crore in the same period last fiscal, the company said. DLF Q2 results: Sales bookings double to ₹15,757 cr in H1 on high demand

Realty major DLF Ltd's sales bookings more than doubled to Rs 15,757 crore during the first six months of this fiscal year on high demand for its luxury housing projects in Gurugram and Mumbai. According to its latest investors presentation, DLF has reported sales bookings or pre-sales at Rs 15,757 crore during April-September period of this fiscal as against Rs 7,094 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year. During the 2024-25 financial year, DLF Ltd achieved a record sales bookings of Rs 21,223 crore. The company has given a guidance of achieving sales bookings of Rs 20,000-22,000 crore during the current fiscal year. On Thursday, DLF reported a 15 per cent decline in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,180.09 crore for the second quarter of this fiscal year. ACC Ltd Q2FY26 results: Net profit up over five fold at ₹1,119 crore

Cement maker ACC Ltd on Friday reported more than five-fold rise in consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 1,119.26 crore in the September quarter on the back of strong sales. The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 199.7 crore in the same period last fiscal year, ACC Ltd said in a regulatory filing. Consolidated revenue from operations in the September quarter stood at Rs 5,896.16 crore as against Rs 4,542.23 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal year, it added. Total expenses in the quarter under review stood at Rs 5,393.42 crore as against Rs 4,473.67 crore in the same period a year ago, the company said. In the second quarter, cement and ancillary services clocked revenue of Rs 5,519.18 crore, up from Rs 4,373.41 crore in the year-ago period, the filing said. Ready mix concrete segment posted revenue of Rs 453.62 crore as against Rs 289.1 crore in the same period last fiscal year, the company said.
