Amid the ongoing debate over the Karnataka government's decision to provide a 4 per cent reservation for Muslims in government contracts, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale on Sunday asserted that the Constitution does not allow religion-based quota. Attempt to push RSS agenda: Rahul slams govt over draft UGC regulations

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday alleged the UGC's draft regulations on the appointment of teachers and academic staff in universities and colleges was an attempt to push the agenda of the RSS that aimed to achieve its idea of imposing "one history, one tradition, one language" on the country. Speaking at a protest against the draft University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations organised by the DMK here, the opposition leader in the Lok Sabha said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) aim was the eradication of all other histories, cultures and traditions of the country. "That is its starting point and that is what it wants to achieve. It attacks the Constitution because it wants to achieve one idea which is its idea -- one history, one tradition, one language -- on this country," the former Congress chief said. "This attempt that it is doing with the education system of different states is just another attempt to push its agenda," Gandhi said. "Each state has its ...

The RSS chief said that in Hindu dharma, no one is superior or inferior; caste does not matter, and there is "no untouchability". He urged everyone to respect others and said that if "all Hindus are united, it will benefit the world". Bhagwat also suggested ways to achieve this unity, including "knowing oneself," treating everyone equally, and protecting the environment. Western liberal ideas in India a threat to our culture: Dattatreya Hosabale

Western liberal ideas "operating" in India through various means and avenues are posing a threat to the country's cultural continuity, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said on Wednesday, exhorting people to wake up and stall it. It's a new method of colonisation in the name of liberalisation and globalisation by painting all cultural nationalities and civilisations in one colour and putting them in one framework, he said while addressing an event here. I may be saying very serious things... Once our new generation's mind is filled with these things, then one generation is lost. The cultural continuity will be lost, he said. It's a very serious thing now which we all have to be aware of and see that they are stalled right there, Hosabale added. The RSS general secretary was addressing an event organised to launch a book, Who is Raising Your Children: Breaking India With Youth Warriors', authored by Rajiv Malhotra and Vijaya Viswanathan. The wokeism, which has been in here,

Rahul Gandhi has now declared 'open war' against Indian state itself: BJP

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's remarks that "we are now fighting the BJP, the RSS and the Indian state itself" triggered a row on Wednesday with the BJP alleging that his statement was straight out of "George Soros' playbook." Addressing party leaders after the inauguration of the Congress' new headquarters at 9A, Kotla Road here, Gandhi said, "Do not think that we are fighting a fair fight. There is no fairness in this. If you believe that we are fighting a political organisation called the BJP, that we are fighting a political organisation called the RSS, you have not understood what is going on.
