Japanese hotel chain Hotel Management International (HMI) Company Limited plans to develop 30 new hotels in Uttar Pradesh. On Saturday, the second day of the three-day Global Investors Summit in Lucknow, the Japanese company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of Rs 7,200 crore with the government of Uttar Pradesh in this regard, an official release issued here said. "Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's efforts to realise and develop the state's tourism potential have created immense possibilities for the hotel industry. India's leading conglomerates Reliance, Aditya Birla Group and Tata on Friday committed to invest more than Rs 1 lakh crore in Uttar Pradesh to expand their businesses in the near future. Aditya Birla Group on Friday committed Rs 25,000 crore investment across its various businesses in Uttar Pradesh. Speaking at Global Investors Summit here, Kumar Mangalam Birla said the investment would go into various businesses like cement, metals, chemicals, financial services and renewable energy. Reliance to invest Rs 75,000 crore in UP to expand telecom network

Billionaire Mukesh Ambani on Friday announced Rs 75,000 crore investment over the next four years in expanding the telecom network, including roll out of 5G services, retail and new energy business in Uttar Pradesh.
