The ORBIS Flying Eye Hopsital landed in Mumbai today. The Flying Eye Hospital, which is part of ORBIS, the global sight saving organisation, will conduct an intensive two-week medical training programme for 150 doctors and 20 nurses.

In its 16th visit to India, the Flying Eye Hospital, globally supported by FedEx, comes at the invitation of the central government and the ministry of health.

"FedEx has been associated with ORBIS for more than 20 years," Jacques Creeten, vice president India, FedEx. "We support ORBIS with this medical programme in Mumbai because there is tremendous need for trained eye care professionals who can treat eye diease, especially in children."
