Aban Offshore Q1 net loss at Rs 143 cr

Aban Offshore today posted a consolidated net loss of Rs 143 crore for the first quarter ending June 30, 2010.

The company had a net profit of Rs 110 crore in the same quarter last year, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

In the quarter under review, it posted a 6 per cent rise in revenue to Rs 842 crore as against Rs 793 crore.

The stock is now trading at Rs 884, down 1.5 per cent from its previous close on the BSE today.
