Asahi Songwon's Q2 net up 122%

Asahi Songwon Colours Ltd has posted a profit after tax of Rs 4.3 crore for the quarter ended September 30, up 122 per cent from Rs 1.93 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Net sales for the quarter stood at Rs 43.85 crore, growing by 41 per cent from the same period last year.

For the first half of the current fiscal the company has registered a sales income of Rs 88.54 crore compared to Rs 48.28 crores during April-September 2009, an increase of nearly 83 per cent.
