Coirfoam Draws Up Rs 45 Crore Spread Plan

Coirfoam India, a major coir mattress producer based in north India, has drawn up ambitious plans to emerge as a national player over the next couple of years.

The company plans to set up three manufacturing units, one each in the west, south and east over the next two years at an investment Rs 45 crore, or Rs 15 crore per unit.

Currently, Coirfoam India has a market share of close to 9 per cent. It hopes this will rise to 25 per cent over the next two years.
