Concor to set up 13 multi-modal logistics parks

Multi-modal logistics provider Container Corporation of India (Concor) is planning to set up 13 multi-modal logistics parks across the country in the next five years.

"Currently, work has started on two projects - Khodiyar (150 acre) in Gujarat and Nagulapalli (80 acre) in Andhra Pradesh," Anil Kumar Gupta, managing director, Concor, said.

The investment for each park would depend on the size and location. "So far, we have not finalised the other locations," he said launching the domestic container terminal at Nagulapalli in Medak district of Andhra Pradesh.

The Nagulapalli domestic container terminal has come up on 16 acre with Rs 26 crore. The terminal would also house a multi-modal park that would come up with on 64 acre, which is under acquisition, with Rs 60-65 crore investment, Gupta said.
