Doshion Veolia bags Rs 200cr order

Doshion Veolia Water Solutions (DVWS), a joint venture company between Ahmedabad-based Doshion Limited and French company Veolia Water Solutions and Technology, has bagged a Rs 200-crore order of water and waste water management of Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi.

The project will encompass civil work, plumbing, piping, transportation of waste and complete operation and maintenance.

Talking about the project, Ashit Doshi, managing director of Doshion Veolia Water Solutions said, "Once completed, the plant shall be a good exhibit of technology at its best use. With 150 plus technologies and more than 1,600 patents to its credit, the company has developed the best scheme for GMR-IGIA with a lot of emphasis on water recycle, reuse and waste minimisation."

 

Under the project, DVWS will install water treatment plants that reduce salinity of water and sewage treatment and recycling plant that uses the recycled water for horticulture and washing purpose, thereby maximising the use of available water resources and minimising waste generation.

"It will also manage entire piping network for water and sewage all across the airport and provide water for firefighting, potable use, processes and utilities for the entire complex," Doshi added.
