Former Google engineer invests in Livspace, joins as special advisor

Former Google and Facebook engineer, Gokul Rajaram, has made a minority investment in Bengaluru-based end-to-end home design start-up Livspace and joined it as a special advisor.
Rajaram, who is the product engineering lead at Square, a global payments firm, will work with Livspace on the technology and product strategy across mobile, web, and emerging platforms.
Rajaram was a class mate of Anuj Srivastava, co-founder and chief executive of Livspace, at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and worked in the same product group at Google.

Prior to Square, Gokul led the Ads Product team at Facebook, where he drove product development and execution for Facebook’s advertising products. Before that, Gokul co-founded Chai Labs where he was the CEO before the company was acquired by Facebook in August 2010
"Livspace is addressing a huge market opportunity in India and globally. They are building a global technology team with great customer experience," said Rajaram.
