KAPL opens 3 new Ayurveda clinics in B'lore

| Kerala Ayurveda Pharmacy Limited (KAPL) has opened three new 'Kerala Ayurveda Clinics' in Bangalore. |
| "These clinics will be a combination of consultation and therapy centres offering authentic Ayurveda services to cure chronic ailments. An investment of Rs 6 to Rs 10 lakh was made in each clinic," said Sonjoy Mohanty, CEO & managing director, KAPL. |
| The new clinics are located on 80-ft and 100-ft in Koramangala and Jayanagar. These will complement the existing ones in Indira Nagar and Shivaji Nagar, he added. |
| The company, which currently has 34 clinics, plans to enter north India after consolidating its operations in the south. It aims to have over 100 clinics by the end of 2007. |
| Besides treatment of chronic illnesses, Kerala Ayurveda Clinics offer Panchakarma and therapies for rejuvenation. This includes many benefits such as nourishing the body, revitalising the nervous system, overcoming fatigue, promoting sound sleep, improving complexion, and enhancing the immunity systenn. |
| According Anil Kumar, executive director (technical), KAPL, "Ayurveda is more relevant today than ever in treating diseases of modern age. Unlike allopathic cures, Ayurveda not only provides permanent relief from an ailment by treating the root cause but also enhances immunity in the long run. |
