Lakme beauty salons in A'bad

Lakme of Lakme Lever, one of the leading cosmetics brands, launched two outlets of its Lakme Beauty Salon (LBS) in Ahmedabad. This will take the number of LBS in the country to 92 across 38 cities.

This is the third and fourth launch in the state, after one in Vadodara and another in Surat last year.

Talking about the salons, business manager, Reena Chhabra said,"We have been getting a lot of demand for our LBS from the city. Although we are still in the planning stages, given the demand we are thinking of launching four more outlets in the state; two more in Ahmedabad and one each in Vadodara and Rajkot. But for now, we have to see how well our outlets are received."

Chhabra added that this was also the fourth launch this year. The outlets will provide a range of latest beauty and grooming services in areas of hair care, skin care and beauty.

The brand has also introduced other services like 'Free Spirit Floral Bliss Facial,' Exfoliation and Free Spirit Floral Bliss Manicure and Pedicure', which Chhabra claims to have adapted from the current trend in Italy.

As an inaugural offer, Lakme is also offering every customer a one-time redemption of Rs 250 against a bill value of Rs 500 at the LBS.

According to Chhabra, the employees at all LBS are specially trained at Lakme's own institute, Lakme Training Institute in Mumbai, and sent across the country.

Currently Lakme has only one such institute in the country which offers diploma and certificate courses in grooming and beauty care in hair care, skin care and beauty.
